Small town sorceress with a creepy familiar
Note for battle: roll 2d20+initiative. Pick the higher number.
Scorching Ray: 3d6+charisma damage, plus 2d8 ongoing damage if you roll an even on a hit.
Chaos Bolt: 1d8+charisma. 3d8 damage. If even hit roll, roll 1d6. 1-2 you get +1 AC until the start of your next turn, 3-4 all staggered (half HP or lower) enemies around you take (level) damage, 5-6 one nearby enemy takes (level) damage.
Shield: If an enemy hits, they reroll their attack. Recharges on 11+
Note: After the battle roll a 1d20 for each spell you used that has the recharge tag. If you roll the number or higher listed, you can cast the spell again. Shield is 11+, Lightning Fork is 16+
Breath of White: (daily spell) 1d2 on groups of enemies, 3d6+charisma if it is a hit and half damage if it is a miss. 5d6 damage
Breath of Green: (daily spell) 1d4 on groups of enemies, 15+charisma ongoing damage on hit, 5 ongoing damage if miss.
Note for Breath Spells: As a sorceress, you get to roll a 1d20 at the start of each of your turns for the rest of the fight. If 16 or higher, you can use the spell again.
Gather Power: Give up a turn to empower a spell for your next turn. When you gather power, roll a 1d6. 1-2 you get +1 AC until the start of your next turn, 3-4 all staggered (half HP or lower) enemies around you take (level) damage, 5-6 one nearby enemy takes (level) damage. Spell on the next turn gets double damage. Doubling ongoing damage only works on the first “tick” of damage and goes down to normal next turn
Staff of Wayreth: A staff made of solid silver, with a crystalline blue topper, clutched by a carved obsidian dragon. Once wielded by Fistandantlus himself, but seems to be much older than him.
Effects: (1) Casts a Light cantrip essentially at will, lighting up the orb topping the staff. (2) (recharge 10+) The first time an enemy engages you in an enouncter, make an opportunity attack against that enemy. On a hit, you deal 2d8+cha damage with that attack, and daze the foe until the end of its turn.
- Behavior Quirk: (ignorable so long as you don’t have too many magic items in hand) You don’t like to be touched.
